The Art of Presence...
Oftentimes the eyes see what cannot be spoken. The soul affirms what cannot not be explained. There is a presence and perfect alignment of time and space witnessed for just a fleeting moment. We are lucky if we can capture the miracle, but none-the-less blessed by the witnessing. Photography is being present and open to the gifts of the universe.
I formally claimed photography was the art of seeing, however, it is much more. Photography incorporates not only the eyes, but all physical senses, time, space and intuition.
The camera is a tool that when craftfully executed, captures the experience of the moment.
"When I admire the wonder of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in worship of the Creator". ~ Mahatma Gandhi ~Exhibits:
